My Friend Olive

Yesterday my friend Olive and I decided to go for a lovely long walk.

Olive is a year old and seems to have stopped growing. I am not sure she will ever be as big as me but it doesn't matter. We are great chums and she can run just as fast as me, sometimes faster. She also has more energy than me!

It was a really sunny day so we thought we would make the most of the fine weather.

At Half Key, on the outskirts of Malvern, there are some great orchards. The orchard fields follow part of the Worcestershire Way.

Look how far you can run.

We had a great time chasing each other. We found some sheep too, but we didn't chase them! And finally.. a nice long rest!

Showborough House Sculpture Garden... in the rain!

Yesterday (Sunday 12th June 2011) Fiona and her friend Laura went to Showborough House Sculpture Garden. I was meant to go with them but, honestly, you should have seen the rain.. it was pouring! There was no way I was getting wet, especially when Fiona's Mum suggested I stay in and sit next to the log fire. I know my place and it isnt outside in the rain!
Anyway they had a good afternoon and seemed glad to have gone, even if they did look like drowned rats when they returned! They said the gardens were full of interesting pieces, here are just a few:

Fiona said that Showborough House is definitely worth a visit. The gardens and the sculpture made for a really enjoyable afternoon. Of course the greatest creation of all was waiting for them at home....
